WHAT EXACTLY IS DATIRS?
Datirs is a drink made from roasted date seeds. It's 100% natural, caffeine-free and rich in antioxidants. A healthy alternative to coffee that you can enjoy any time of day.
Does it taste like coffee?
It has a mellow, rich roasted flavour with natural notes reminiscent of coffee, but without the bitterness. It's comforting and versatile: you can drink it on its own, with plant-based milk or as a base for your own-recipe drinks. Many people prefer it to coffee.
Does it contain caffeine?
No. Datirs contains no caffeine or other stimulants, so it's ideal for people who want to reduce their coffee consumption or avoid side effects like agitation or insomnia.
How do you make it?
Easy: prepare it just like you would ground coffee. You can use an Italian stovetop coffeemaker, a French press, an espresso machine or simply brew it like tea.
What format does Datirs come in?
We sell Datirs in 250g packages. You can buy 1, 2, or 4 units, which correspond to 250g, 500g, or 1kg. This way, you can adjust according to your consumption.
Where is it grown?
We use date seeds grown through responsible and regenerative agriculture in Egypt, supporting sustainable practices from the source.
Can I drink it if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. Since it doesn't contain any caffeine or additives, it's a safe and easy-to-digest drink. However, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional if you have any concerns.
What makes it a healthy alternative to coffee?
Datirs date seed brew doesn't make you feel jittery, doesn't disrupt your sleep or digestion, and gives a mild energy lift thanks to its antioxidants and minerals, without overstimulating your nervous system.

Why is it more sustainable than coffee?
Date palms grow in arid areas and require less water and resources than growing coffee. What's more, we use the seeds, a byproduct that's usually discarded, turning them into a generator of income and reducing waste.
Is it a zero-waste product?
Yes. We maximise the value of the raw material by using the seeds, thereby reducing waste and promoting a responsible and circular production chain.
Where do the date seeds come from?
We work with small-scale farmers in oases in Egypt, such as Siwa and Bahariya, generating fair employment in areas with few resources while respecting the local culture.
Where can I buy Datirs?
You can order Datirs directly in the Shop section of this website. For now, it's sold in 250 gram packets. You can also find it in selected cafés and physical stores, and we're gradually expanding our points of sale. Check out where Datirs is available on our Instagram and be part of the change.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship throughout Spain (including the Balearic and Canary Islands) and also internationally. You can order directly through the website. If you have any questions about shipping to your country, please write to us and we'll be happy to help you.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We process orders within 24 to 48 hours. Shipments within Spain usually take between 2 and 4 working days. For international shipments, times may vary depending on the destination, but deliveries usually arrive within 5 to 10 working days.
